Subway Lines

In this drawing, I am walking down the escalator in a subway station. Using a pen to draw a pattern of fluid lines, I adjusted the value in certain areas to create a sense of depth. The endless lines in the drawing reflect what feels like an endless amount of subway lines in the New York train system that are all connected.
